On 26 August 2015, the Hong Kong New Zealand Business Association hosted a Business Seminar in conjunction with HKETO and HKTDC.
We had the privilege of hearing from a range of international speakers who had flown from Hong Kong and Australia.
Mr Mark Clift, the Chief Operations Officer of the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Ltd (“Cyberport”), gave an insight into the growing digital market in Hong Kong, and the offerings of Cyberport. Mr Clift also gave this presentation at our lunch seminar Wellington on the 28 August.
Dr Simon Galpin, Director-General of Invest HK gave a report on the investment and business market in Hong Kong, and highlighted the growth and potential for start ups.
Finally, Ms Bonnie Shek, Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, described the opportunities in Hong Kong for international trade and outlined the various trade fairs available in the coming year.
