Mr. Stephen Philips Mr Stephen Phillips is the Director-General of Investment Promotion at Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK), the Government Department responsible for attracting and facilitating foreign direct investment into Hong Kong. Mr Phillips has served in senior positions in a number of private and public organisations. He lived and worked in Hong Kong from 1989 to 2004 holding senior investment banking positions with Deutsche and BZW/Barclays Capital before co-founding a Hong Kong-based group of companies providing IT, financial and consultancy services across Asia. In 2004, Mr Phillips joined UK Trade & Investment (now the UK’s Department of International Trade) before becoming the Chief Executive of the China Britain Business Council in 2006, as well as Chairman of the EU China Business Association.
Professor Ricky Chan Prior to joining Auckland University of Technology, Ricky served as an associate professor and associate head of the Department of Management and Marketing at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Ricky is an internationally recognised researcher in green consumption. According to a study published in Australasian Marketing Journal in 2017, he has been ranked as the world’s second and third most influential author in green consumer research by ‘total articles’ and ‘total citations’, respectively. Ricky has also been included in Stanford University’s List of the Top 2% Scientists in the World by Citations since 2020.
Professor Peter Han Joo Chong Professor Peter Han Joo Chong is the Associate Head of School (Research) at the School of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. Between 2016 and 2021, he was the Head of Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at AUT. He received the B.Eng. (with distinction) in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Nova Scotia, Canada, in 1993, and the M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada, in 1996 and 2000, respectively. He has visited Tohoku University, Japan, as a Visiting Scientist in 2010 and Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Hong Kong, between 2011 and 2012. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Information Engineering, CUHK. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET), UK.
