The Chinese New Year function planned in celebration of the start of the Year of the Rat in conjunction with HKETO has unfortunately been CANCELLED/POSTPONED.  Please read the message below received from HKETO deputy director Winnie Chan late yesterday.

You are no doubt aware of the latest developments of the coronavirus outbreak and the efforts by governments in affected countries to contain the spread of the disease.

According to some forecasts, the next two weeks may see a marked increase in cases.  Since gatherings of a large number of people in an enclosed space for a prolonged time are not advisable, we have decided to postpone our upcoming “Hong Kong is ON” seminar & reception on 12 February 2020.  A new date will be announced later in the year and you will be the first one to hear about it.

We would like to thank you for your continued support of Hong Kong and your understanding at this time.
