2020 Annual General Meeting

HKNZBA cordially invites you to our 2020 Annual General Meeting on Thursday 26 March, 5:30 pm at Chandelier Room, The Cordis, 83 Symmonds Street, Auckland. We do hope that you will be able to join us as we reflect over our activities of the last year and begin looking at the future.

We are excited to welcome Kiwa Whatarau, the NZTE Trade Commissioner based in Hong Kong, as our guest speaker. Based in Hong Kong, Kiwa leads NZTE’s work to support businesses grow their exports into Hong Kong and Macau. Uniquely, Kiwa will be able to share an on the ground view of how recent changes in Hong Kong, including the recent outbreak of COVID-19, is impacting businesses.

Prize draw: Thanks to our long-standing sponsor Cathay Pacific, two lucky winners will each receive a return flight ticket for travel between Auckland and Hong Kong. To enter, you must be a fully-paid-up member and have registered for the AGM (proxy registrations will be accepted). We will be drawing the winners at the end of the AGM.

This year, in addition to the formalities of the AGM itself we will also be celebrating the Year of the Rat. We will be serving canapes, drinks and providing an opportunity to socialise with both old and new HKNZBA members and guests.

Please note that if you are a fully-paid-up-member, when registering online please select Bank Transfer as the payment method despite your fee being $0; you will be passed through on the system and we will not send you an invoice.
