Executive Leadership & Execution as Executive Director of RCR Infrastructure (RCR Renewable) and Dataguard, I lead the development and commercialisation of large-scale clean energy projects. My focus is on moving beyond “heroic” scale to create durable, distributed systems that work without permanent subsidies. Key Project: Led the 7.2MW Ashburton Solar Farm, one of New Zealand’s earliest and most significant grid-connected utility-scale solar installations. Current Focus: Solving the “firming” challenge—integrating battery storage (BESS) and AI-enabled solutions to turn intermittent renewables into reliable baseload power. Governance & Community Beyond the site and the spreadsheet, I am committed to bridging digital infrastructure with energy resilience. Director at Dataguard / RCR Infrastructure: Aligning operation assets with sustainable energy applications. Industry Governance: Board member for CCCANZ (Climate Control Companies of New Zealand). Cross-Border Leadership: Executive Committee member of HKNZBA (Hong Kong New Zealand Business Association), supporting cross-cultural partnerships and next-generation talent.
