Executive Member

Emma McNeill is a Senior Adviser at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade (MFAT). She has extensive experience in trade policy and has been posted to the New Zealand Embassy to the United States.

Currently based in MFAT’s Auckland office, her work primarily focuses on supporting the trade and economic relationship between New Zealand and North Asia, including Hong Kong. She also leads MFAT’s engagement with the tech, manufacturing, and investment sectors in New Zealand.

Emma holds a Master of Environmental Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Victoria University of Wellington and serves as an ex-officio member of the Executive Committee.
