Time usually passes people by when they pass through the doors of The Langham, Auckland. Sometimes though, time is of the essence especially when one only has time for a quick lunch during the week. That’s why this luxury hotel has just created the new Chef’s Choice menu, a two-course menu served within 45 minutes in Eight restaurant.
Every Monday to Thursday lunchtime during the month of October, executive chef Volker Marecek will give diners ‘a taste of Eight’ by personally selecting an entrée, main and dessert from the Eight kitchens. Diners can then choose to have the entrée and main courses or the main and dessert courses as their two choices for just $29.50 per adult. This expert selection of dishes will change daily so while you might have a spicy curry entrée one day, it could be a succulent slice of eye fillet steak the next.
